Orders for Services

All sales are final, and no refunds will be processed for order cancellations for goods or services. Upon receiving requests for services, a member of the African Diaspora Resource Centre (ADRC) Team will attempt to contact customers via the contact information provided during the billing process to schedule appointments or deliver services as required by the order details. Customer is responsible for responding to such contact attempts, and making themselves available to schedule services or provide any requested documents in a timely manner to avoid delays in order delivery.

Customers who fail to show for their scheduled appointment or do not provide notification of cancellation within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment time will be assessed a rebooking fee of 100 Ghana Cedis. Services must be used within 7 days of purchase. Due to the nature of currency exchange fluctuations for services pegged to the US Dollar by the government of Ghana, after 7 days, customer may be responsible for paying any additional costs for delivering the same service, where applicable. While no refunds will be processed for unused services, the credit value may be rolled over for future services or transferred to a third party upon written notice provided by the customer.

Privacy

We respect your privacy, and any personal information provided upon registration will be kept secure, and used to provide relocation or investment services in accordance with our privacy policy. By submitting your order, you consent to communication made by our team via phone call, text message, email, and/or video conferencing to offer services or updates as necessary to fulfill your booking.

Orders for Rental Vehicle

Self Driven Vehicle

  • African Diaspora Resource Centre (ADRC) will need to see and make copies of either a valid Ghanaian driver’s license or a valid international driver’s permit with foreign driver’s license of the client
  • A signed self-drive rental agreement will be required
  • We will collect and hold a GHS 1,000.00 / $100.00 USD refundable deposit, or block the same amount on the credit card of the client until the vehicle is returned in good condition
  • Client is responsible for safety and payment of any damages to the car.
  • Client has a maximum mileage cap of 100 km per day after which GHS 0.50 pesweas will be charged per kilometer for any extra mileage incurred during the period.
  • Also, kindly note that payment is expected before the rental starts; you can make payment via our website by bank transfer, mobile money, or credit card.
  • Fuel during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter. The vehicle must be returned on a full tank of fuel.
  • Minimum rental age is 30 years
  • Vehicle may be picked up from our office location in Osu upon confirmation of pickup instructions. Delivery of vehicle to your Home or Office is available at a small fee depending on your location.
  • ADRC will show client options of vehicles within their selected class and price point, and will take note of client’s preferences. Vehicle assignment will be determined on the day of rental period based upon availability. While every effort will be made to honor any preferences submitted for a specific make or model, ADRC reserves the right to make substitutions as required for a comparable vehicle within the same price category. In such cases, client is not entitled to any restitution of the total rental amount already paid.

Chauffeured Vehicle

  • ADRC will need to see and make copies of a valid government issued ID for all passengers prior to commencing the rental period
  • Fuel during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter. The vehicle must be returned on a full tank of fuel.
  • A private driver is provided for a chauffeur-driven rental for up to 12 hours per day, beginning from the time of arrival to the pick-up location. An extra-hours fee will be charged at a rate of GHS 50.00 per hour for rental periods in excess of the contracted duration for the day.
  • Minimum rental age is 20 years
  • Rental costs exclude driver accommodations if staying outside Accra overnight
  • Pickup and drop-offs will be conducted from the locations provided at the time of booking. Any changes to pickup or drop-off location may attract an additional fee in the event that the distance causes an increase to the calculated rate.
  • ADRC will show client options of vehicles within their selected class and price point, and will take note of client’s preferences. Vehicle assignment will be determined on the day of rental period based upon availability. While every effort will be made to honor any preferences submitted for a specific make or model, ADRC reserves the right to make substitutions as required for a comparable vehicle within the same price category. In such cases, client is not entitled to any restitution of the total rental amount already paid.

Premature Termination:
If the client wishes to terminate the contract before the contract ends, the client must pay the total bill for the remaining period of the contract, and any refunds will be subject to the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy for Vehicle Rentals

Cancellations:
Cancellations made less than 48 hrs prior to the start of the rental will attract a one-day rental charge. All cancellations attract a 10% administrative charge and a 5% electronic transfer processing fee.

Refunds:
Refunds takes up to ten (10) working days to be processed back to the original payment method.
